Nueva OTA en Azkoitia

El sistema OPS de gestión del estacionamiento se ha implementado en Azkoitia con gran satisfacción para los usuarios. El servicio de OTA es gratuito pero controla el tiempo de estacionamiento de los vehículos para facilitar la rotación de las plazas de aparcamiento.

El sistema de vigilancia asistido por PDAs  garantiza el cumplimiento de la ordenanza y la imposición de sanciones que pueden abonarse en los parquímetros.

From next April 1 to 4, Amsterdam will welcome the nineteenth edition of Intertraffic, where the major players of the sector providing solutions for the management of Traffic and Transports will meet. Intertraffic offers the largest exhibition platform for this industrial sector.

¿How much time does it take to park in Spanish cities?

Consumer magazine

The consumer-eroski magazine conducts a study analyzing the regulated parking areas in 18 cities throughout the country with favourable results in Bilbao where our OPS system is installed. OPS has received the top score, based on the high rotation produced by the system that allows the reduction of the time needed to find a parking spot on the week days.

The study also highlights the fact that the parking meters are the most specialized and advanced with regard to the user typing in his plate number because, not only can he recover the money for the unused parking time, but also he has the possibility to pay using his cell phone.

New On-Street Parking regulation in Elgoibar

The OPS system for on street parking management is installed in Elgoibar with huge customer satisfaction. The parking is free but it controls the parking time of the vehicles to facilitate the rotation of parking spaces. It makes meter feeding impossible.

BIDETU installs Trafik Track

BIDETU Logo

BIDETU installs the fleet management system based on Trafik Track to monitor its road maintenance vehicles. The implementation of the system will allow them to add special features for winter road maintenance in Bizkaia in the future.

The system will include tools for analysing and comparing road winter maintenance performance and costs in relation to the current meteorological circumstances, through the integration of new software and Trafik Meteor. All of those involved will have access to the real time information of meteorological circumstances via Internet.

OGERCO begins Trafik Track

OGERCO screen

Ogerco begins the fleet management system based on Trafik Track to monitor its cement trucks. The system allows them to visualize the vehicles’ position in real time through GPS and located them on a map using GIS tools. This tool will allow them to know the current status of each vehicle in order to optimize the load and the journey to the worksite.

A new Web site for Open Traffic Systems (www.opentraffic.net) has been created using XHTML1.1and CSS 2.1 style sheets to provide greater accessibility to visitors and to more and longer-lasting types of Web devices. The presentation language utilized results from transformation of the original documents, which were constructed in a structured way with XML.

Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya

The engineers of Open Traffic Systems, Ltd. continue to demonstrate that their greatest interest is in continued improvement and that their enthusiasm for learning and moving ahead each day is intact. As proof, two engineers of the hardware development team have successfully completed the postgraduate course given by UPC (Catalonia Polytechnic University) on different certifications. The initiative, which promotes group study in the evening to improve results, arose from the professionals themselves, and, in its second edition, has demonstrated a high rate of success.

Trafik pass flying colours Lisitt’s audit.

The Lisitt (Intelligent Integrated Systems and Traffic Information Technology Laboratory), depending on the Robotics Institute of the University of Valencia, completed an audit of Trafik system focused on the implementation of MKZ between December 2006 and April 2007

The excellent results shown by the system Trafik audit confirm the top quality of Open Traffic Systems Ltd solutions, demonstrated by the prestigious recognition of Lisitt Laboratory in the field of technical assistance for IT systems.

Open Traffic Systems Ltd. collaborates with MAESSA – Telecontrol Systems.

Maessa

Since October, Open Traffic Systems, Ltd. develops new remote telecontrol equipment for MAESSA:

  1. SETIS v4.0
  2. IDACS v4.0

These two projects for the electricity sector have as an objective the most stringent fulfillment of the IEC 61850 norm (Communications Networks and Systems Substations).

On the one hand, possible obsolescence of current platforms will be avoided by providing equipment using cutting-edge industrial technology. On the other, this will allow the re-utilization of software on both platforms and a reduction in variable costs without sacrificing the stringent requirements of the product under development.

OTA Bilbao – A European reference in the Management of Urban Parking.

The municipality of Bilbao has chosen the OPS solution, placing itself in the European vanguard for the management of urban surface parking, with a system that is interconnected through a LAN GPRS. A total of 505 units centralized in real time guarantees regulation of urban parking and traffic:

  • 16,000 parking places available.
  • 74 surveillance routes.
  • Over 23,000 operations daily.

OTA Durango – another example of success in the regulation of Traffic and Urban Parking.

The OPS system has been implanted in Durango with license number management that guarantees the success of vehicle rotation and urban parking. Since its implantation in February, the system has provided a solution for the parking problems existing in Durango and has been received in a positive manner by the city residents.

Open Traffic Systems, Ltd. collaborates with SALICRU

Since June, the engineers of Open Traffic Systems, Ltd. are developing for SALICRU a new SICRES system for remote telemaintenance to be embarked in the company’s equipment. This ambitious project is divided into two different parts:

  1. FIM Module, capable of functioning in local mode or with a permanent connection that increases the functionality and capabilities of the equipment.
  2. Control Center, capable of managing equipment remotely by means of a Web interface.

The goal is to create a system that automates equipment maintenance, configuration, data collection and control, providing remote access to equipment through a wide variety of networks and oriented to the industrial sphere.

SICRES

It is, without a doubt, a solution that implies great intellectual effort on the technological level and takes maximum advantage of the potential of a real-time operating system featuring the maximum versatility possible for establishing communications in real time. From a company point of view, it represents an advancement that will allow notable cost savings and undoubted improvement in the services that SALICRU will be able to offer with its equipment.

OTA Zumaia and OTA Getaria

Zumaia and Getaria, two tourist destinations on the Euskadi coast, have opted for the OPS solution for the management of summer traffic and urban parking; In the case of Zumaia, the parking meters offer the possibility of obtaining tourist tickets and visualizing tourist information.

The OPS system of parking management has been implanted in Bakio. A total of 24 centralized vending machines control the regulation of traffic and regulated parking in the summer season. The vending machines allow obtaining current information in real time on tides, cultural activities, etc.

OTA Sopelana – Successful first installation of the OPS System.

OTA Sopelana

First installation of the OPS (Open Parking System) for the management of urban parking has been successfully completed in Sopelana. The system, comprising 44 centralized machines, will control parking in two different areas of Sopelana: City Center and Beaches. The goal is to improve regulation of traffic and parking.
